INTRUDER ALERTS Instructions, safety & Disclaimer

Most of us have perimeter walls or fencing by now, that's the 1st barrier, the 2nd barrier should be beams or Intruder Alerts. You can use Intruder Alerts as a barrier, preferably closer to your home, you need to hear them trigger, allowing you to be prepared and contact you security company, police neighbors and/or friends for assistance.

Intruder Alerts can be set up along fence lines, in bush areas, between trees, between pot plants, against pillars etc.

Intruder Alerts operate on a basic trip wire system, that once the pin is pulled out, the firing mechanism will be released to strike the empty cartridge or blank, causing the detonator of the cartridge or blank to fire, making a loud bang, which will alert you, the the home owner or tenant to the potential intruder or intruders that are attempting to gain unlawful access to your property and/or home.

Intruder Alerts can be set up low or fitted higher, to avoid being triggered by dogs and other roaming pets etc.

Safety is always a massive concern when working with firearm ammunition, be cautious when pulling the heads out of cartridges to create blank empty cartridges for your Intruder Alerts.

Always insure that the pin provided with your Intruder Alert is fitted and loaded through the firing mechanism securely, holding the firing mechanism back & in full load position, prior to loading your empty/blank cartridge.

Be sure not pull on the gut/fishing line when fitting the unit, this will pull the pin and trigger the unit .

Always allow slack in the gut/fishing line to allow for wind, moving trees and branches etc.
